Georgia-based Mellow Mushroom has opened a new East Valley location in the former Rock Bottom Brewery building on Ray Road, just west of I-10, in Ahwatukee.
The hippie-themed concept offers 16 specialty pizzas with monikers such as Kosmic Karma, Magical Mystery Tour, and Philosophers Pie. The menu also has salads, sandwiches, and calzones.
Like Mellow Mushroom’s downtown Tempe location, the Ahwatukee one has 48 beers on tap.
