Tempe craft beer bar and restaurant Flanny’s hosts the 2013 Holiday Craft Beer Spectacular & Ugly Sweater Pageant – featuring 25 beers from SanTan Brewing on tap – at 6 p.m. Friday.
The blowout will include several pilot and one-off beers from the downtown Chandler brewery, including Heavy D, a just-introduced imperial version of its flagship Devils Ale.
Other rarities: Old Fashioned Ale, a bourbon-aged version of its Epicenter amber ale with orange peel and cherries, and Saison di Aleatico, a collaboration with Dos Cabezas Wineworks.
There will be prizes for the ugliest sweater.
