Pittsburgh Willy’s hot dog shop is holding another dog food drive. From 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, bring in a bag of dog or puppy food and receive 50 percent of your food.
“Helping someone that can never repay you is the most noble act of human kindness,” Pittsburgh Willy’s owner Randy Walters says. “True when helping humans and animals, but the difference is that animals, especially dogs, will repay any human with unconditional love every moment every day for the rest of their lives.”
The eatery’s last drive collected nearly 2,000 pounds of food for a local animal shelter – a figure it hopes to surpass Saturday.
Pittsburgh Willy’s is located in the Merchant’s Square antique mall on Arizona Avenue just south of Warner.
