For the second straight week, Romeo’s Euro Cafe‘s popular Thursday private dinner is sold out, so chef/owner Romeo Taus is adding another dinner Tuesday.
The 6:30 p.m. dinners, hosted in a private dining room by Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection of five dishes from the downtown Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
This Tuesday, those highlights include Spicy Putanesca (pictured) and Mediterranean Paprikash.
“Taste of Romeo’s†menu
- Romeo’s Choice Skins: Italian sausage, onions, peppers, and mushrooms covered in melted provolone. Served with yogurt dressing.
- Corinthian Salad: Grilled chicken breast, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, capers, and feta cheese, tossed in Italian dressing over romaine.
- Mediterranean Paprikash: Ravioli with hearts of palm, scallions, mushrooms, cashew, and red bell pepper in paprika cream sauce.
- Spicy Putanesca: Grilled chicken breast and Italian sausage with sautéed black peppercorns, capers, pine nuts, kalamatas, scallions, and roasted garlic in basil-roasted and fresh tomato anchovy sauce.
- Chocolate Cheesecake:
