The Watershed, a lakeside restaurant and bar, has opened on Lakeshore, the half-miler between Rural and McClintock, just south of Baseline in south Tempe.
The newcomer takes over the once-ramshackle building longtime Lakes residents fondly remember as Charlie Brown’s (among other incarnations).
The Watershed features a mostly American menu, a 200-seat patio, and a 50-foot bar.
It’s located next to Pier 54, another patio restaurant and bar that serves American food, overlooks the same lake, and shares the same parking lot.
The smaller Pier 54 includes the blue-and-white structure on the right in the above photo.
