The Valley’s newest culinary festival, Taste in Tempe, will make its debut Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Tempe Center for the Arts amphitheater alongside Tempe Town Lake.
Organizers say 30 restaurants, 30 wineries, and 30 craft breweries will participate. Besides the requisite food and drink samples, the 1-4 p.m. event will include chef demonstrations, wine seminars, and Valentine-themed shopping.
A partial list of participants includes La Bocca, The Handlebar, Spokes on Southern, Four Peaks Brewing, SanTan Brewing, Hummus Xpress, Rubio’s, Chop, and Bombay Spice.
Tickets for the three-hour event are $59 in advance and $69 at the door.
Taste in Tempe is sponsored by three local CBS radio stations – KMLE (107.9 FM), KOOL (94.5 FM), and LIVE (101.5 FM) – and Scottsdale-based R Entertainment Company.
