Gallagher’s Sports Grill, a popular gathering place for East Valley sports fans for two decades, has closed its doors on the northwest corner of Alma School and Warner in Chandler.
It was the last Gallagher’s remaining in the East Valley. The local chain still has four restaurants in Phoenix and another in Peoria.
The closing wasn’t a surprise for regulars. The restaurant had been publicizing the pending closure since at least mid-December.
A Gallagher’s official says the chain is “looking at new locations with better facilities.”
