Thursday is National Pie Day, and AZ Food Crafters in Chandler is celebrating with a special: Buy one of their fresh pies, soups, or grain salads and get a second for half-off.

Traditional round pies (most $12) also are available in flavors like maple pecan, tangerine chess, caramel apple, and lemon cream delight. (Note: Traditional pies are made to order and take 48 hours, so order today for pickup Thursday.)
In addition, the bakery on the southeast corner of Alma School and Ray will have pie tastings from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday. If you can’t make it by 4, the offer extends to their table at the downtown Chandler farmers market until 7 p.m.
