Cork unveils Vietnamese menu for monthly tasting dinner Sunday

Vietnamese cuisine is the focus of this month’s Sunday tasting dinner at Cork in Chandler. Held the last Sunday of every month, the $35-per-person prix-fixe dinners showcase chef Brian Peterson’s take on a theme or type of cuisine.

Taste of Vietnam menu:

  • Optional starter: Banh mi with pork belly, picked daikon, carrot, cucumber, jalapeño, and cilantro on a baguette (extra $10)
  • 1st course: Pho with rice noodles, shaved sirloin, bean sprout, and chile
  • 2nd course: Spring roll with crab, shrimp, rice paper, veggies, and peanut sauce
  • 3rd course (choice of one): Wagyu Shaking Beef with pea shoot, pickled onion, and cucumber tomato; or marinated mero with scallion, garlic, ginger, and tumeric coconut rice; or pork bún bò with rice noodles and chile oil
  • 4th course: Coconut tapioca with caramelized banana and candied ginger

Additional wine pairing for three courses are $15.
