My Wine Cellar in Ahwatukee is extending its Valentine’s Day special to three days, starting Thursday and running through Saturday.
My Wine Cellar Valentine’s menu:
- Starter: Mixed greens salad with grapes, pancetta, and balsamic
- Entree:Â Cabernet-braised short rib with truffle potato gratin and roasted tomatoes
- Dessert: White chocolate cheesecake with raspberries
Cost is $45 (or $30 without wine pairings) plus tax and tip.
My Wine Cellar also kicks off another round of its popular Wine 101 and Wine 201 classes next week.
Wine 101 covers the different types of wines, regions, and varietals, and consists of classes from 6-7:30 p.m. on four consecutive Tuesdays. Each class includes four wine tastings and small bites.
Wine 201, for those who have completed Wine 101, covers four varietals (chardonnay, pinot noir, red blends, and cabernet sauvignon) from 6-7:30 p.m. on four consecutive Mondays.
