The fifth annual Taste of Higley will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the Higley High School Cafeteria. The fest will include food samples from local restaurants, including Cantina Laredo, Baci Italian Bistro, and the Apple Dumpling Cafe.
In addition, there’ll be a wing-eating contest sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings, a silent auction, face painting, and live entertainment by students.
Admission is free. Tasting tickets are $1 apiece (one ticket per taste), or 12 for $10.
Taste of Higley is a fundraiser for the school’s Academic Booster Club, which uses the proceeds for scholarships and awards.
Higley High is located on the northeast corner of Recker and Pecos in Gilbert.
