Balsamic Shrimp De Modena and Ravioli Marco Polo will be the featured entrees at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
Feb. 27 “Taste of Romeo’s†menu:
- Mezzogiorno: Roasted red peppers, peas, artichoke hearts, and fresh mozzarella cheese in a pesto Dijon vinaigrette
- Chef Salad: Turkey, ham, Swiss, provolone cheese, crisp bacon, artichokes heart, and olives on salad greens. Feta dressing
- Balsamic Shrimp De Modena: Jumbo shrimp, roasted red pepper, hearts of artichoke and palm, roasted garlic, asparagus, and capers in olive oil and balsamic vinegar with freshly grated Romano cheese
- Ravioli Marco Polo: Cheese ravioli, meat sauce with Italian sausage, ricotta topped with mozzarella and a touch of cinnamon.
- Chocolate Walnut Strudel: Flaky pastry and walnuts dipped in luscious chocolate (pictured)
