The Brass Tap – the Valley’s newest craft beer bar, with more than 300 beers, including 60 on tap – debuts tonight at Mesa Riverview with a private party for its Facebook fans. It will open to the general public Saturday.
To attend the Facebook party, you must “like” the bar’s Facebook page here. Tonight’s party, which runs 6-11 p.m., will include a complimentary beer and free food.
After being closed Friday, The Brass Tap will open to the public at 9 a.m. Saturday to accommodate the morning crowds from the Phoenix Marathon, which ends at Riverview.
For opening day, nearly half of the handles – 28 of the 60 – are dedicated to Arizona beers. The Brass Tap has a smartphone app that includes an up-to-date beer list. You can peruse the opening-day lineup here.
Besides the beers on tap, the cooler hosts about another 260 (and growing) brands in cans and bottles.
The interior features lots of dark wood, TVs, and chalkboards.
Here’s list of happy hour and daily specials. See the food menu here.
After Saturday, The Brass Tap will start regular hours of 11 a.m.-midnight Sunday, noon-2 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday. See a map of its location here.
