Bourbon Jacks celebrates Mardi Gras today with jambalaya, po’boy

Today is Mardi Gras, aka “Fat Tuesday,” and Bourbon Jacks in downtown Chandler is offering a pair of Cajun-themed food specials, both available for lunch and dinner.

The first is jambalaya, a dish of andouille sausage, chicken, shrimp, sweet peppers, and onions stewed in a Cajun-Creole broth and served over rice.

The other is a catfish po’boy, a sandwich of spicy fried catfish, Creole sweet pepper slaw, and Cajun remoulade on a toasted hoagie roll.

For those who like to dance, Two-Step Tuesday starts at 7:30 p.m.
