A special Friday edition of Craft Beer Thursday this week…
Huss Brewing in Tempe is hosting a Hess Brewing tasting from 5-7 p.m. Besides a full lineup of Huss beers (including its new Cubs-inspired Magic in the Ivy), there will be four beers from San Diego’s Hess: Solis Occasus double IPA, Grazias Vienna Cream Ale, Restauro Rye Weizen, and Figus Dark. They’ll be giving away some Hess glasses.
Pitcher of Nectar will bring four Abbey Brewing ales, brewed by real-life Benedictine monks in New Mexico, to Sun Devil Liquors in Mesa. Starting at 4 p.m., they’ll have Monks’ Wit, Monks’ Ale, Monks’ Triple, and Monks’ Tripel Reserve on tap.
In honor of regular customer Scott Occhuizzo’s last Friday in town, Whole Foods Chandler will have some of his favorite Belgian beers – Gulden Draak, Tripel Karmeliet, Yeastus Christus, Art of Darkness, and MOA Breakfast – on tap from 6:30-9 p.m.
If you missed New Belgium’s Snapshot Photomobile Tour in Tempe last night, you can get your pic taken from 7-9 p.m. at Fox Cigar Bar in Gilbert. Besides the new Snapshot Wheat, they’ll also have NB’s Spring Blonde, Le Terrior Sour, and Cigar City Collaboration on tap.
