The Zipps Sports Grill empire continues to grow: The locally owned chain opened its 11th Valley location today on Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe.
Located in the former Pizzeria Uno space on the northwest corner of Mill and Seventh Street, it’s the fifth in the southeast Valley, along with two in Chandler and others in Ahwatukee and Gilbert.
Zipps’ menu features a dozen specialty burgers ($8.49), sandwiches ($6.50-$9.50), 18-inch pizzas ($15), and chicken wings ($7.95 per dozen).
Happy hour specials, available 3-7 p.m. weekdays, include $1.50 pizza slices, $6 dozen wings, $2.75 well drinks and wine, and $3.75 32-ounce domestic drafts.
