Craft beer geeks who missed out on Clutch on draft at last month’s Arizona Strong Beer Festival get a second chance to sample the rare brew tonight at Whole Foods Chandler.
A one-time collaboration between Fort Collins, Colo., brewery New Belgium and Maryland rock band Clutch, the limited-release ale is 80% stout and 20% dark sour wood beer. The ABV is 9.0%.
Only two kegs made their way to Arizona. One was tapped at Strong Beer. The other will be tapped at 6 p.m. tonight at Whole Foods’ The Watering Hole bar.
They also will be pouring New Belgium’s new Snapshot wheat beer and Spring Blonde.
