Caffe Boa in downtown Tempe will host a tasting of Frano Milos organic wines from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today. The tasting is $10, but if you stay for dinner the restaurant will take $10 off your bill.
Located on Croatia’s longest peninsula, the 500-year-old, family-owned Milos winery uses only indigenous Plavac mali grapes, related to zinfandel.
The tasting will feature Milos’ 2012 Rose of Stagnum, 2008 and 2009 Plavac Mali, and 2006 Stagnum.
