Just a reminder: The second annual “Check, Please! Arizona” Festival will take place this Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at CityScape in downtown Phoenix.

More than 30 restaurants that have appeared on the local PBS TV show, along with wineries and craft breweries, will be handing out samples. Admission is $79.

Participating restaurants will include The Salt Cellar and Yupha’s Thai Kitchen in Tempe, Salerno’s Restaurant & Pizzeria and Flancer’s in Gilbert, Red White and Brew in Mesa, and America’s Taco Shop, whose locations include Tempe and Chandler.

Several prominent Valley chefs, including show host Robert McGrath, will hold discussions and cooking demos on three stages

Attendees also will be able to audition to appear on the TV show.
