From 6-9 p.m., The Hungry Monk in Chandler hosts one of Goose Island’s bigger Migration Week promos. On tap by 5 p.m.: Bourbon County Stout (14.2% ABV), Bourbon County Barleywine (12.1%), Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout (13.4%), Gillian (saison farmhouse ale), Juliet (American wild ale), The Illinois (imperial IPA), Matilda (Belgian strong pale, Rasselbock (American dark wheat) and The Sophie (saison).
From 6-9 p.m., a Four Peaks tap takeover at The Brass Tap in Mesa will feature eight of the Tempe brewery’s core beers and eight specialities. The latter are Weizenbock (unfiltered wheat), Double Knot (imperial IPA), Short Hop (session IPA), Sirius Black (Russian imperial stout), Diablo Rojo (double red), Odelay Mexican Chocolate Porter, Poppin Pils, and Kilt Lifter aged in Four Roses bourbon barrels.
From 6-9 p.m., New Belgium will be at Flanny’s in Tempe with a special keg of Felix (the base sour for its Le Terrior) aged in peach whiskey barrels. Peach Porch Lounger, Spring Blonde, Snapshot Wheat, and Ranger IPA also will be on tap.
From 5-7 p.m., Steve Marshall of Anchorage Brewing will be at Gilbert Convenient Mart for a meet-and-greet. He will pour some select Anchorage beers and talk about the Alaska brewery.
