The 37th annual Spring Festival of the Arts takes place this weekend in downtown Tempe. Hours are 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
The Art of Beer garden, located on Seventh Street just west of Mill, adds another Tempe brewery this year with the recently opened Huss. They will join Four Peaks, Sleepy Dog, and Cartel.
Breweries will offer tastings (five samples for $10) or serving by the glass ($5).
Right next door, eight wineries will participate in the AZ Wine Festival, offering six tastings plus a commemorative tasting glass for $12. Glasses and bottles will be sold at market prices.
The wineries will be Alcantara, Arizona Stronghold, Burning Tree, Keeling Schaefer, Kief Joshua, Kokopelli, Page Springs, and Su Vino.
