Founders Brewing, one of the most acclaimed breweries in the country, will begin shipping its beers to Arizona on April 21.
The Grand Rapids, Mich., brewery has been ranked as one of the top breweries in the world by RateBeer.com for the last five years, and has several beers listed in the top 100 beers of the world on BeerAdvocate.com.
“Awhile back I received a call from Mike Stevens, founder of Founders Brewing Company,†says Scott Kirkpatrick, director of craft brands at Hensley. “I could barely contain my excitement about the possibility of bringing Founders beers to Arizona.”
Today’s surprise announcement on Hensley’s blog says Arizona will get Founders’Â year-round lineup of beers, in addition to regular seasonal offerings. Information on specialty and limited release will come later.
Hensley and Founders will be planning a number of statewide launch events on Wednesday, April 23.
