Please welcome Floridino’s Pizza & Pasta in Chandler as MXSW’s newest sponsor. The longtime neighborhood favorite is located on Alma School between Ray and Chandler.
Back in my newspaper days, Floridino’s was a weekly lunch destination for the entertainment staff. Specials (11 a.m.-2 p.m. weekdays) start at a wallet-friendly $3.99 for a 7-inch pizza and a drink.
The signature menu items, though, are the delicious pizza rolls ($4.50 for six) and the football-sized calzones (two-item with drink for $5.99 during lunch, pictured).
The bar offers a small but nice list of wines and craft beers.
