Iowa author and pie maker Beth M. Howard will talk and sign her just-published book, “Ms. American Pie: Buttery Good Pie Recipes and Bold Tales from the American Gothic House,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Changing Hands in Tempe.
The former journalist lives in the famous American Gothic House in Eldon, Iowa, where she writes, teaches pie classes, and during the summer runs the famous Pitchfork Pie Stand.
