Feta Dill Fritters (pictured) will be the appetizer for this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
April 24 ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ menu
- Feta Dill Fritters: A blend of gyro meat, feta cheese, fresh dill, spinach, and pine nuts with yogurt sauce.
- Balsamic Steak Salad: Grilled steak tossed in EVOO, balsamic vinegar with roasted red peppers, scallions, tomatoes, mushrooms, red cabbage, artichoke hearts, and sunflower seeds with romaine lettuce.
- Ravioli Marco Polo: Cheese ravioli, meat sauce with Italian sausage, ricotta topped with mozzarella, and a touch of cinnamon.
- Transylvania Chicken: Grilled chicken breast layered with roasted eggplant, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, pine nuts, and black peppercorns. Rosemary, chilled balsamic beans, and tomato-feta foccacia.
- Mocha Espresso Brownies: Rich chocolaty brownies spiked with Greek coffee, Kahlua, and walnuts,
