Yesterday MXSW broke the news about the news about the new Real, Wild and Woody beer festival, which will be held Saturday, July 19, at Tempe Center for the Arts.
Now comes word of another new summer festival: Scottsdale Beer Palooza, an indoor event that will be held 1-6 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at the North Hall of WestWorld.
The Palooza is being produced by Affordable Food Festivals – the guys behind the Arizona Taco Festival, Arizona BBQ Festival, and Flavors of the West festival – and M Culinary Concepts.
The organizers are promising samples from “approximately 50 breweries,” live music, and beer games. There also will be a beer store, where festival-goers can purchase six-packs and even fill growlers.
General admission is $40 and includes 20 4-ounce samples.
VIP tickets are $60 and include 25 4-ounce samples, as well as noon entrance to try some special brews during a VIP hour.
