It’s Draft Day for the NFL! Well, technically, the first of several this weekend. The first round – 32 picks – will be selected tonight, including the Arizona Cardinals’ first pick at No. 20 overall.
The Brass Tap in Mesa will be offering $3 Cardinal Pale Ales on draft and in cans during the draft. And while the Cardinals are officially on the clock tonight, Cardinal Pale Ales will be just $2.
No, the Cardinals aren’t brewing their own beer. The pale ale actually is one of the core beers from Nebraska Brewing Company. (It won the bronze medal in the American pale ale category at the 2010 World Beer Cup.)
The Brass Tap also will be tapping a keg of Nebraska’s award-winning Black Betty Russian imperial stout tonight.
The NFL Draft starts at 5 p.m. The Cardinals’ selection is expected sometime between 7:30 and 8 p.m.
