Arizona breweries Lumberyard, Four Peaks, and SanTan were multiple winners over the weekend in the competition portion of the fourth annual AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival.
The festival portion of the event will be held 1-6 p.m. Saturday at the Scottsdale Civic Center.
Lumberyard won the gold and silver medals in the American Pale Ale category for its Lumberyard IPA and Knotty Pine. The Flagstaff brewery’s Lumberyard Red Ale took the gold for English Pale Ale.
Four Peaks also picked up three medals: A silver for Kilt Lifter (Brown or Amber Ale) and bronzes for Hop Knot (American Pale Ale) and 8th Street (English Pale Ale).
SanTan captured a gold for its Hefeweizen (Wheat Ale) and a silver for its Mr. Pineapple seasonal (Fruit Beer).
