24 Carrots Natural Café and Urban Juicery in Tempe will celebrate six years in business with special celebrations Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the vegan cafe and bakery will extend its hours until 9 p.m. to accommodate an open-mic night of music and poetry from 6-9. (Sign up at 24Carrotsjuice@gmail.com.)
Complimentary snacks will be served during open mic. A cake-cutting will take place at 8.
Menu specials will include a kimchi fried rice bowl ($9.50), topopo nachos ($10.75), vegan gyros with choice of side ($9.50), and BBQ ribs with beer cheese polenta ($12).
On Saturday, diners will receive 10% off their bill and a free mini cupcake with every entree order.
Saturday brunch specials will include Mexican hot chocolate pancakes ($10), carrot cake pancakes ($10), fruity nutty French toast ($9.50), and a fried “egg” sandwich ($9.50).
