A sure sign summer is just around the corner: Thirsty Lion Pub and Grill at Tempe Marketplace has kicked off its annual Beat the Heat summer promotion.
Whenever the temperature exceeds 110 degrees, the Tempe restaurant will offer 50 percent off its house margaritas and mojitos (normally $7.50).
But you can relax for a little while. The forecast calls for temperatures 103 or lower through the end of May.
