Popular Queen Creek eatery The Deli is opening a second location called The Bistro on Ellsworth Road between Ocotillo and Chandler Heights in downtown Queen Creek.
The space previously was home to Rhino Caffe  and Sorella Caffe.
A tentative opening is being planned June 16 for breakfast and lunch. Dinner will begin when it gets a liquor license for beer and wine in September.
MOD Pizza
Seattle-based MOD Pizza, the latest in a string of quick-serve, build-your-own pizza concepts (pictured), will make its Arizona debut this July at SanTan Village in Gilbert.
MOD is the brainchild of Scott and Ally Svenson, who sold Seattle Coffee Company to Starbucks in 1998.
There currently are 16 locations in Washington, Oregon, and California.
Nourish
Health-centric Nourish, which opened its second location last month on the northeast corner of Higley and Ray in Gilbert, has closed its original Scottsdale location and is moving it to Tempe.
The new site, which hasn’t been announced, is expected to open this fall.
All menu items at Nourish are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and peanut-free.
