Sherry Cranberry Pork and Tortellini Gianni will be the main dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
June 5 ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ menu
- Mushrooms Meteora: Button mushroom caps filled with feta cheese, capers, artichoke hearts, and dill.
- Mandarin Dijon Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken, black olives, mandarin oranges, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, pecans, hearts of palm, and pineapple with honey Dijon dressing.
- Sherry Cranberry Pork: Pork tenderloin, cranberries, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted red pepper, green onions, and rosemary.
- Tortellini Gianni: Italian sausage, cheese-filled tortellini, scallions, fresh garlic, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes in marsala cream sauce.
- Satin Bondage: Layers of toasted almond sponge cake soaked in Amaretto with coconut, white chocolate, cream cheese icing, Malibu rum, and a hint of fresh lime.
