Tempe Mexican restaurant Mucho Gusto will close Saturday and reopen July 1 as The Revival.
Mucho Gusto founder and general manager Chad Withycombe will partner with longtime House of Tricks chef Kelly Fletcher, who left the Tempe fine-dining restaurant earlier this year, in the new venture.
The Revival’s menu will feature contemporary American fare, not Mexican. There’ll be eight beers on tap and a wine program designed by Valley sommelier Dave Johnson.
The building, located on the southwest corner of Roosevelt and University, will be completely renovated. There will be 4 seats in the dining room, 22 at the bar, and 90 on the patio.
