Tavern on Mill to become Wasted Grain brewpub

After a decade in downtown Tempe, the Tavern on Mill will transform itself into a brewpub and microdistillery called Wasted Grain next month.

Located off Hayden Square near Mill and Fourth Street, the Tavern on Mill will close July 7 – after a huge farewell party July 5-6 – and reopen in September.

Wasted Grain will feature 74 taps and an expanded patio with games.

Spent grain from the brewing process will be incorporated into items on the food menu, which will cover lunch, dinner, and late night.
