House of Brews in Gilbert will host another of its summer ice cream socials at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The neighborhood restaurant and bar will pair four house-made ice creams with four craft beers. This time, the participating brewery will be Boulder (Colo.) Beer.
Beer & ice cream pairings:
- Kinda Blue blueberry wheat beer with Berry Cheesecake (blueberry cheesecake)
- Sweaty Betty blonde wheat beer with Betty White (vanilla with white chocolate chips and white chocolate sauce)
- Shake chocolate porter with Ricky Bobbie (chocolate with dark chocolate chunks and brownies)
- Mojo IPA with Hig & Funny (local mesquite honey and fig)
Cost will be $14 for dishes of all four ice creams, plus toppings bar, and four small beers.
