A couple of days ago, we told you about the horrible week downtown Chandler restaurateur Randy Walters was having – capped off by a trip to the emergency room Monday with cardiac symptoms.
Finally some good news: The owner of family-run Pittsburgh Willy’s hot dog shop and Wimpy’s Paradise burger and ice cream parlor successfully had a stent installed in a blocked artery and is now resting comfortably at home.
With Pittsburgh Willy’s grand reopening in its new location temporarily suspended, friends and fans have been flocking to Wimpy’s to help support the restaurant until Walters eases back into work next week.
In the meantime, a Go Fund Me page set up to help him get back on his financial feet is just $800 short of its $5,000 goal.
