AZ Food Crafters, the hand pie shop and cafe in Chandler, has launched its annual “Hatch Green Chile season.”
Special hand pies now for sale include Hatch Green Chile Mac ’n’ Cheese, Green Chile Relleno, Green Chile Chicken, and, for dessert, Green Chile and Apple. Hand pies are $4 apiece.
In addition, there are two new soups available: Hatch Green Chile Corn Chowder (vegan) and Green Chile Chicken Stew.
AZ Food Crafters is located on the southeast corner of Alma School and Ray. Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
They’re also at many of the Valley’s farmers markets, including in Gilbert on Saturday morning and in Ahwatukee and Tempe on Sunday morning.
