Stingray Sushi closes in Old Town Scottsdale, will open in Chandler in October

After 10 years in Old Town Scottsdale, Stingray Sushi closed its doors over the weekend. But the stylish restaurant and lounge plans to open a new location on the southeast corner of I-10 and Ray in Chandler.

“We’ve been eyeing this neighborhood for a while,” says Bryan Chittenden, one of three partners. “We’re all big fans of the Chandler/Ahwatukee area and think it’s the perfect location for Stingray’s unique mix of great vibes and seriously awesome sushi.”

The 5,000-square-foot Chandler location is expected to open by the end of October.

Stingray also has locations in north Scottsdale and Phoenix. The owners say they are looking for a new location in Old Town Scottsdale.
