The Sushi Room in Chandler took advantage of the holiday weekend to rechristen itself with a new name: Rock Lobster.
The Downtown Ocotillo restaurant. which opened in October 2011, also has added three teppanyaki grills where iron griddles are used to cook Japanese-style cuisine in front of diners.
Rock Lobster opens at 11 a.m., but the teppanyaki grills don’t open until 5 p.m. and reservations are required. This week, diners will get a 50% discount off teppanyaki items tonight and Thursday.
Other than the teppanyaki items, Rock Lobster will continue to offer the same menu items as The Sushi Room.
