The Valley’s first major Oktoberfest event of the year will be held from 1-9 p.m. Saturday at House of Brews in Gilbert.
The day-long indoor-outdoor party will feature live music, a stein-holding contest, food trucks, more than 20 beers on tap, a best outfit contest, and a silent auction.
Local brewers and brewery reps will take turns sitting in a dunk tank from 3-9 p.m.
Breweries providing German or German-style beers include SanTan, Sleepy Dog, Uncle Bear’s, New Belgium, Left Hand, Paulaner, Krombacher, and Hofbrau.
General admission is $5, and VIP tickets are $50 per person in advance or $60 at the door.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Arizona Tinnitus Foundation.
