If you’d asked me yesterday where to find a nice salad bar in north Mesa, I would’ve drawn a complete blank.
Now I know at least one. Baja Joe’s Mexican Cantina, located on the southeast corner of Gilbert and McKellips, just launched its first salad bar.
It’s not huge, but there are 20-plus items, including fresh grilled chicken, broccoli, tomatoes, kidney and garbanzo beans, peas, carrots, cabbage, red onions, cucumbers, cheese, peppers, and more.
The salad bar is offered 11 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays.
Cost is $4.99 for one trip for to-go diners, or $6.99 for unlimited trips for dine-in customers.
And if a salad doesn’t fill you up, Baja Joe’s also makes the best fish tacos in town.
