The cat’s out of the bag: SanTan Brewing has released its seasonal Sex Panther double chocolate porter more than two months earlier than previous years.
Brewmaster Anthony Canecchia says the change was due to “public demand,” adding that Sex Panther still will be available until March 1, as usual, when Mr. Pineapple wheat beer is released.
So instead of two months of Sex Panther, we now get it for nearly five months. You can find it here.
Fans will notice cans sport an updated version of the namesake caricature, a panther wearing 1970s-era attire.
The beer, of course, takes its name from a scene in the 2004 movie “Anchorman,” shown here:
