After several consecutive sellouts, there actually are seats available this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe” dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, so grab yours quick.

The five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.

Oct. 30 “Taste of Romeo’s” menu:

  • Portobellini: Grilled Portobello mushroom with roasted peppers, basil pesto, garlic, and kasseri cheese
  • Broiled Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken tossed with artichokes, roasted red peppers, black olives, green onions, and walnuts on a bed of lettuce with a lemon-mustard sauce
  • Milanesa: Lightly breaded pan-fried pork cutlets. Garlic-horseradish mashed potatoes, roasted pepper, and garlic jardinière.
  • Veal Pirata: Walnut- and almond-encrusted veal shoulder scaloppini, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers, asparagus, capers, and roasted garlic in marsala cream over linguini.
  • The Night Before: Dark chocolate souffle nestled on a bed of coconut macaroons and edged with pecans

Cost is $25 per person, and you can add five wine tastings for another $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
