Several East Valley restaurants are stepping up to help the families of Chandler police officers David Payne and Bryant Holmes, who were killed in traffic accidents last week:

• Tuesday, both the Chandler and Gilbert locations of Which Wich sandwich shop will donate 30% of the day’s proceeds.

• From 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Famous Dave’s will be handing out free pulled pork sandwiches at the Chandler Police Department, 250 E. Chicago St., in exchange for donations.

• From 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, officers will serve patrons at the Famous Dave’s at SanTan Village in Gilbert with all tips going to the families.

• Next Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Barro’s Pizza locations at Val Vista and Williams Field and U.S. 60 and Power will donate 20% of all dine-in, pick-up, and delivery orders.
