The weekly five-course “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe” dinner will not be held Nov. 13 and Nov. 27, so this Thursday’s 6:30 p.m. dinner will be one of just two opportunities this month.
Chicken Omega and Sausage Sophia (pictured) will be the entrees for the dinner hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, at their Gilbert restaurant.
Nov. 6 “Taste of Romeo’s†menu:
- Greek Skins: Gyro meat, artichokes, feta and kasseri cheese, yogurt dressing
- Bleu Caesar Salad: Romaine lettuce with tomatoes, spring onions, red peppers, capers, bleu cheese, house-made croutons, and anchovies with Italian dressing.
- Chicken Omega: Strips of grilled chicken, spinach, pine nuts, garlic, and feta in white wine cream.
- Sausage Sophia: Italian sausage with bell peppers, garlic, capers, mushrooms, pine nuts, zucchini, and scallions.
- Euro Delight: Moist black cake soaked with Kahlua and filled with a tangy chocolate Kahlua crème fraiche mousse.
Cost is $25 per person, and you can add five wine tastings for another $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
