For the past month, I’ve been trying to confirm a rumor Uncle Bear’s Grill & Bar in Chandler was preparing to close.
I guess I can stop trying. The restaurant and bar now is closed.
It’s the second restaurant to close recently on the northeast corner of Dobson and Germann. Chao Urban Asian Eatery shut its doors Sept. 29.
Uncle Bear’s still has locations in east Mesa and Queen Creek, and well as a brewhouse in Ahwatukee.
