Tickets for the 14th annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival, the state’s premier craft beer event, went on sale this morning. The fest will be Saturday, Feb. 14 – Valentine’s Day – at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix.
It looks like there are several changes to this year’s event. Instead of 15 tickets for 4-ounce tastings, general admission ticket holders will get 40 tickets for 2-ounce samples. VIP tickets will come with 47 tickets.
Also, the VIP-only period – the hour before the 1-5 p.m. fest – has been expanded to 90 minutes and will start at 11:30 a.m. There will be a new VIP area with private restrooms at the center of the fest.
And, perhaps the biggest news of all, Strong Beer no longer will kick off Arizona Beer Week, which will start Thursday, Feb. 12, and run for an expanded 10 days.
Strong Beer tickets are $45 for general admission and $75 for VIP. Keep on mind, VIP tickets went quickly last year, and even general admission tickets sold out. Buy yours here.
