Barrelhouse American Kitchen & Cocktails in Chandler will host its second annual Arts & Craft Cocktail Dinner at 6 p.m. Monday.

The dinners are inspired by four works by a local artist – this year, Shain LaBarge – to create four courses of food paired with four specialty cocktails.

LaBarge’s paintings (one of which is pictured above) are being displayed on Barrelhouse’s walls all month.

Arts & Craft Cocktail Dinner menu:

  • 1st course: Quail medallion tandoori with pineapple “fire” glaze, forbidden black rice
  • 2nd course: Blue corn meal encrusted soft shell crab, diver scallop mousse, cascabel pepper sauce, flaked bonito
  • 3rd course: Bison short rib, bone marrow demi glace, haricot vert, Peruvian potato mash
  • 4th course: Ancho chili chocolate mousse marbled with rosemary crème anglaise, espresso chantilly

Check out the cocktail pairings here. The dinner is $69 per person ($55 without cocktail pairings). RSVP: 480-857-8877.

The dinner will be an introduction to Barrelhouse’s new chef, Stephan Germanaud, who was raised in France and cooked at the Phoenician, Vincent’s on Camelback, Boulders resort, and the Wrigley Mansion.
