Stone & Vine Urban Italian, a popular Scottsdale restaurant (pictured), is opening a spinoff location in the former Grimaldi’s Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria space in south Chandler.
Grimaldi’s, located on the southwest corner of Alma School and Queen Creek, closed last March.
Stone & Vine offers a full range of pizzas, sandwiches, pastas, and traditional Italian entrees. Signature dishes include ravioli and mushroom risotto, eggplant parmigiana, and spaghetti and meatballs.
Mo opening date has been announced, but the restaurant will hold a hiring fair Jan. 19-22. See details on their Facebook page.
Stone & Vine is just one of the concepts operated by Scottsdale-based JGP Restaurant Group. Others include casual steakhouse Black & Bleu and the Mexican-inspired Salt & Lime.
