The non-profit Beer for Brains Foundation’s fifth annual Epicuriad – a celebration of food, wine, and craft beer pairings – will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Musical Instrument Museum in Scottsdale.
The event raises money for brain cancer research. Tickets are $95 for general admission or $150 for VIP. You can buy them here.
The Epicuriad will feature 20 chefs, 20 vineyards, and 20 breweries. Each entree will be paired with a wine and beer, and attendees will vote on which pairs best.
Chefs also will compete for best entree with the winner getting a trip to New York to cook at the James Beard House.
VIP admission includes a pre-event chef face-off between Gregory Wiener from the Buttes Marriott Top of the Rock and Chris Knouse from Litchfield’s at the Wigwam.
General admission entrance starts at 7:30 and runs until 10:30 p.m.
Some of the other chefs participating include Justin Beckett (Beckett’s Table), Adam Allison (Skeptical Chemist), Brian Archibald (Graduate Hotel Tempe), Payton Curry (Brat House), and Jared Porter (Clever Koi).
